AC DOORS DOMINATES NOVA CORPORATION IN 7-0 WIN; OAKLEY NOTCHES A HAT-TRICK

AC Doors upped their record to 2-0, with a commanding 7-0 win over Nova Corporation Sunday at the East Hants Sportsplex. 

Andrew Oakley (Lower-Sackville, Amherst MHL) got things started when he beat Dave White 7 minutes into the game to make it 1-0, with the helper going to Neil Pashkoski. Left-handed forward Connor Fudge would notch his first of the season to make it 2-0, with the assist going to lead singer with Hundred Proof Al O'Neil. Oakley would add his second of the game to make it 3-0, assists to Pashkoski and David Macgregor. Josh Parker would make it 4-0, assists to Brad Ross, and Pat O'Neil, allowing AC Doors to head into the break with a commanding lead. 

The second was more of the same, Oakley would lock down his hat-trick, from his set up man Pashkoski, while Pat O'Neil would add back to back goals late for insurance. 

Ricky Jones stopped 12 shots for his first shutout of the season, while Dave White turned in a valiant effort stopping 30 of 37 in the loss. AC Doors (2-0-0) will look to make it 3 in a row when they tangle with Shooters Bar and Grill (1-1-0) on Sunday October 1st at 7:30. Nova Corporation (0-0-2) meanwhile will look to find their first points of the season when they play Sack-Vegas at 8:30pm on October 1st.
